These are low key training and technique events: everyone is invited to come along to any of these events, be they new to orienteering or experienced and who wish to take advantage of the arm light summer evenings and the informal atmosphere. You can find details for the events below. In addition to the training events, other clubs in the region are organising events during the summer, some of which are listed below. |

Club BBQ (after Club Champs), Welwyn: Saturday 16th June. The Cheethams will be preparing the BBQ (after Club Championships) and providing sausages and chicken kebabs etc. Salads and bread will be included along with a selection of sweets for afterwards. If anyone wishes to bring their own choice of meat or vegetarian choice there will be cooks and cooking facilities available. There will be a nominal charge for those eating the meat provided. Please bring your own alcohol. A variety of soft drinks will be provided.Please ring Pete (01438 715546 or 07764655997) or email: cheethap@UK.ibm.com if you are coming to the BBQ so that we can arrange the correct amount of food.

Gooseberry Fool Score Event and Social: Wednesday evening 4th July, Sawbridgeworth. Informal Score in Pishiobury Park followed by pizza supper. Pizza (+bbq if weather fine), salad, pudding and drinks. You are all welcome to come along to the Social, even if you can’t get here for the event – but please could you let Sally (sally @ pribul.co.uk) / 01279 724482 know by Monday 2nd July 2007 if you will be coming to eat. |
