By taking part in our Events you agree to the following:

Information

Registration information will be recorded on computer.

Events results will be published on the Internet and sent to British Orienteering.

Publicity

Photographs and/or names may appear on our website or in the media.

Safety

Competitors are responsible for their own personal safety and for assessing their own abilities to complete the course.

Cancellation

In the case of curtailment or cancellation of the event due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to retain all or part of the entry fees.

If you are no longer able to attend the CHIG event that you have entered and if you notify the Organiser no later than 9pm on the day before the event, we will make available either a credit for the full entry fee which will automatically be used towards entry fees for future CHIG events or a cash refund minus the entry system provider charges. Please indicate your preference when notifying the Organiser.

Public Liability

Participants who are not members of British Orienteering are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. By entering this event, you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered.
